Thrifty Rapid City launched in October of 2008 - the brainchild of sisters Amy and Natalie. Natalie, in awe of her sister's frugality, constantly bothered Amy for tips on how to save money (and time) while still enjoying life. Amy, fed up with Natalie constantly asking for information, decided that if she was going to share her knowledge with one person - she might as well share it with many.
